Update: not quite as dramatic as predicted, but still a good first snowfall to start the season,especially since the kids have a chance to play today, and we have a chance to clear the driveway before Monday's commute.

We're getting nailed with ice here (and most of Iowa). At least a quarter of an inch so far. And the power has flickered several times. Bleh.
I an in the SW metro and we had about 4-5 inches of the predicted 6-12 or whatever it was.
Most definitely didn't live up to the hype. But then again, as far as weather reports go, they very rarely do.
